Disappointing food, excellent service. β€’ Scallop Motoyaki - do not recommend. Tasted of slightly sour milk β€’ Chef’s Nigiri - too many chaotic toppings; didn’t end up finishing β€’ Wagyu strip - way too chewy, tasted like a bad cut. The table behind also had the same experience. Maybe an off night? β€’ πŸ₯ƒKaba Old Fashioned & Forbidden Murasaki (ube) were fantastic β€’ Chutoro nigiri - clean presentation, excellent taste and flavor πŸ‘Œ We arrived 20 min late than our reservation time and ended up waiting 45 min to get seated. Our fault and glad to have still gotten a seat. Vibe was great and our server was great. $500+ and still left hungry so went across the street for more food. Probably won’t be back unless it’s for drinks

Went here for an anniversary lunch, they greeted up with a free drink (non-alcoholic sparking tea) which was a nice touch. We started the lunch with the spicy salmon dip which I highly recommend followed by an assortment of their maki and hand rolls. For dessert we opted for the yuzu pie and it was delicious! Would definitely visit again.

Cannot say enough good things about this place. Jed was our server and certainly did not steer us wrong. The fish is all so incredibly fresh and we enjoyed so many pieces of nigiri and a few roles. We were also lucky enough to have the off menu kama toro with caviar. INSANE. Also if you order the fried rice, definitely let it sit for a few minutes and get extra crispy. The desserts were all homemade and out of this world. The ichigo milk was absolutely unreal and the cheesecake was to die for.

A Michelin-star restaurant. Out of the 10 rolls we ordered, only 7 were served. Honestly, only 2 of them were actually delicious. The rest were very ordinary, and what was labeled as β€œrolls” turned out to be maki β€” 5 out of the 7 we ordered. The bill was $150 for two people, and I wouldn’t say it was exceptionally tasty for that price. The restaurant feels overrated. If this is supposed to be a sushi restaurant, then their sushi is definitely not among the best, unless perhaps we simply chose the wrong items. Also, take a look at this restroom. Absolutely уТасный β€” truly terrible. Many lower-level restaurants have a much nicer restroom interior, better cleanliness, and more style. The overall impression left a bad aftertaste. Would I recommend this place? Definitely not. The only positive was that the waitress was smiling and pleasant. The girl who led us to the table seemed like she had to force herself to be polite. (And just to note, this was not the end of the workday β€” it was only the beginning.) Another plus was the unusual interior, and the prices written in yuan looked pretty cool as well.

The restaurant was dimly lit, making the menu difficult to read. The draft beer was lukewarm and had little foam. I asked for a refill, but it never arrived. I asked again, but it didn't arrive until the third time. My daughter tried to order a fried shrimp bowl that she saw on the Google Maps menu, but was told it was only available on the basement floor. I wish it hadn't been written on the restaurant's photos. The soy sauce poured generously into the small dish overpowered the flavor of the sushi. Pouring soy sauce generously is not elegant in a sushi restaurant. It ruined the experience. A sushi and sashimi restaurant should provide soy sauce at each table so customers can adjust the amount to their liking. Also, for some reason, only two small dishes of soy sauce were provided, even though there were three of us. The atmosphere was good. The sushi wasn't bad, but it wasn't worth the price. I won't be going again.
